Our Story
Curt and Janet welcome you to the vineyard, where passion and careful viticulture meet to produce exceptional wines. They are the vineyard owners and workers, with Curt being the CTO (Chief Tractor Operator) and Janet in charge of the wine. Curt was raised on a farm, and has come full circle back to his roots after years in the corporate world. Janet has a passion for everything wine, after leaving QANTAS she obtained her Diploma of Viticulture and WSET certification. Cooper is the vineyard dog who will be very excited to welcome you to the vineyard, and is also good at finding drip irrigation leaks.
With the help of others in the industry, hard work, and a few mistakes along the way, our 50-year-old vineyard has been returned back to producing excellent grapes and wine,
Our vineyard is situated in the heart of the Mudgee wine region, just 5kms north of town. We believe that our location, climate, soil and old vines play an integral part in the quality of our wines. We use some of the best winemakers in Mudgee to transform our grapes into wines that are both elegant and exceptional.
Join us at our unique rustic shed cellar door and enjoy a taste of our amazing wines while looking out at the beautiful views of the vineyard, lawn, and nearby hills. Janet will take you on the tasting journey and share the stories of our grapes, wine making and vineyard experiences while you relax and sip the wines.
